❌ NO. These items are not acceptable:

![]() | Disposable nappies |
![]() | Containers that still contain food, liquid or any other substance |
![]() | Textiles/clothing |
![]() | Gas bottles |
![]() | Chemicals, oils and paints |
![]() | Medical waste/syringes |
![]() | Rigid items over 1 metre long |
![]() | All types of batteries |

Contamination
The placing of incorrect materials in your collection bins is called contamination. Bins that are deemed to be contaminated by our drivers and may be left unemptied. Please ensure correct materials are placed in your recycling bin.
TIPS. How to reduce waste:
- Avoid buying over packaged products
- Buy refillable or returnable products
- Buy products made from recyclable material
- Try to reuse items (e.g. plastic bags and jars)
